The Refuge of Hope is committed to instilling children of all ages a love for the word of God. We do this by nurturing spiritual development through bible stories, dramas, music and crafts. Our teachers demonstrate God’s love through patient consistency. Refuge of Hope offers Sunday school classes at 10:00 am. There are individual classroom settings for ages 4-11, September through June. During the summer months the children participate in a children’s church. Nursery is provided from birth to 3 years of age.
With the Word of God we will respond to the cry of a generation that is searching for more. The Refuge of Hope Student Ministry promotes a fun, supportive atmosphere where kids ages 12-18 can come together, create lasting relationships and most importantly – draw closer to God!
Meets Friday nights from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at the church and Sunday mornings at 10:00am for Sunday School.
Our LIFE class for young adults meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. Each class begins with refreshments and fellowship, followed by teaching and discussion relevant to young adults. This group integrates both singles and young married couples as we believe both groups have a unique perspective which benefit each other. Come join us this Sunday and find some new friends to share your LIFE journey with.
The 3rd Thursday of each month we have Sisters get-togethers, which is a short Bible Study followed by common interest activities. There is a quarterly Men's get together event, whether it be a breakfast or evening bonfire, accompanied by biblical discussion. We also have an annual Mother/Daughter Banquet and annual Men's and Ladies' Retreats.
Our goal is to promote, encourage and inspire people to pray. To teach people to be more effective, confident, knowledgeable and successful in their prayer life. To pray for one another. To communicate with God.
We have a network of people committed to pray for your needs. With our faith and prayers God will change things.
‘Go ye therefore into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…’
After fulfilling the greatest command of all, to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength’ comes the 2nd greatest commandment: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’.
